Momentum for the UK’s only baby trade show is growing as Harrogate International Nursery Fair confirms the return of more major brands this week.

Latest confirmations include Recaro, Chicco, Boppy and Jané – Johnston Prams and Buggies – as well as Little Poppets & Co, Knee Guard Kids and Skip Hop. There are 14 new or returning companies so far too, promising visitors plenty of exciting fresh ranges to choose from.

Adrian Sneyd, show organiser, comments: “With the show date getting closer, it seems that many brands are making the last-minute decision to jump on board. For many independent retailers, Harrogate is their major buying event of the year and suppliers are recognising the huge potential.”

Last year, saw the return of many favourite brands to Harrogate including Silver Cross, with Claire Garnett of the company commenting: “Our return to Harrogate International Nursery Fair was a huge success for Silver Cross. It was great to showcase our first ever car safety collection to retailers and the press and the response was tremendous. The show couldn’t have gone better, and we will be back this year.”

Richard Trott, managing director of Weybury Hildreth, also said: “We had a really great show and definitely made the right decision to attend Harrogate again for the first time in a number of years – it was good to be back. We had a great reaction to our Purflo and Pink Lining product ranges and took some nice orders which made the whole exercise worthwhile.”

Adrian continues: “We now have just a few stands remaining offering manufacturers and suppliers the unique opportunity to meet the majority of the UK’s nursery industry buyers all under one roof – catching up and networking with existing customers and meeting potential new ones too.”
