Founder and Managing Director of Bambino Mio, Guy Schanschieff has been awarded ‘winner’ for the International Director of the Year at the 2019 finals of the IoD Awards. 

Guy Schanschieff of Bambino Mio said: “I’m thrilled to be named the International Director of the Year; this is a great achievement of which I am extremely proud. I truly believe that there’s real purpose to what we’re doing at Bambino Mio, and it’s important that we continue our mission to raise awareness of the numerous benefits that reusable nappies have on our environment, finances, and baby by educating people across the globe.”

The finalists were chosen from the hundreds of Directors that entered or were nominated across nine different categories from across the UK, so winning this coveted award was no mean feat. 

The expert judging panel including John Williams, Vice Chair, Association of Chairs, Kathryn Stone OBE, Parliamentary Commissioner, Standards Office and Helen Stephenson, Chief Executive, Charities Commission to name a few, who convened to decide the overall winners, which were announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 18 October 2019 at the stunning venue, The Brewery, London.

The legendary Sir Trevor McDonald OBE hosted the ceremony alongside the wonderful Roger Tilling, best known as The Voice of University Challenge.
