Gb’s first group 1/2/3 car seat has been recognised for its exceptional safety in this year’s ADAC testing.

The Everna-Fix has been awarded ‘best in class’ and has received a ‘Good’ rating in the independent German Stiftung Warentest, in cooperation with the ADAC, one of the most prestigious testers of child car seats in Europe. 

Fusing design with functionality, the Everna-Fix delivers ongoing safety and support through children’s formative years, up to approximately 12 years. 

The car seat has been recognised as a “good child car seat with a long potential period of use” and commended for its safety features such as the integrated Linear Side-impact Protection System (L.S.P.) which provides an additional layer of protection in the case of a side-impact, reducing the force of the collision by approximately 25%, when compared to the same seat without L.S.P. This works in unison with the energy-absorbing shell, which directs force away from the child, further minimising the effects of a collision.

The ADAC testing also recognised that there is “minimal potential misuse during installation” and that it is a “comfortable car seat for children that does not take up too much space in the car”. 

Combined with an ISOFIX System, the Everna-Fix is equipped with a top tether which prevents from dangerous seat rotation in case of an accident. Both features have a visual warning, with the top tether having an additional audible warning when not installed or inappropriately installed – supporting the correct use of the seat.

The seat secures the child with a 5-point harness for maximum safety, while the patented reclining headrest prevents the child’s head from tipping forward while sleeping. This ensures that their head remains in the safety zone, offering vital protection in the case of a side-impact collision.

In group 1 (9 to 18 kg), the child is protected with a five-point harness for maximum safety. As soon as the child reaches 18 kilograms (approx. 105 cm), the car seat can be easily converted into a group 2/3 car seat and the child is secured with the 3-point vehicle belt.
