Changing Bags

n the move with a child is certainly not a time when a mum is travelling light. Even a short trip out needs a changing mat, nappies, wipes, perhaps a change of clothes for the inevitable accident. Often an older child will also need a couple of toys, and almost certainly a drink of some sort, in his special cup!

This is where a changing bag comes in handy. Of course, the prime consideration ought to be practicality. Can mum fit in all she needs. Are things easy to find. Is there a place for her purse, her keys? Is her phone within easy reach or will she need to go scrabbling in the bottom every time it rings?

However as with so many things, many mums prefer to choose a bag that is fashionable. And there is a huge choice in the market, from classy bags to match business suits to vivid fun bags. Some are very feminine but we mustn’t forget that it is often Dad who has the responsibility for ferrying the child to the nursery, so there is a need for bags which won’t shame!
